CLOSED Case Resolved. Per PSA Manager: The irrigation system is functioning as designed.  In order to reduce the amount of natural drainage from this site, irrigation nozzles are held upslope from lowest slopes to accommodate ground water with the combination of overhead irrigation.  The no-mow turf used in these conditions is designed to seasonally "brown" and can survive extended periods of drought stress.  As we near the start of our wet-season, these areas will return to green.  The water conserving design was thoroughly vetted through community stakeholders and public meetings.  Overtime, this seasonal browning of the edges will become an accustomed sight in our Mediterranean climate and become a symbol for diligent resource management.  If you have any further questions about the water-conservation measures in this project, please feel free to email me at steven.cismowski@sfgov.org . - 10 days ago #8104136
