DPW has just held a neighborhood clean up day, Unfortunately, they announced this event by stapling large signs to power poles all over the place, including this one at 24th and Castro. The event is now over, and they haven't removed the poster stapled to the pole. There were a lot of these signs attached to poles - there may be more left standing, like this one.
