Garbage Containers at Intersection Of Lisbon St & Silver Ave
I am requesting removal of the public garbage receptacle at Silver Avenue and Lisbon. I live across the street and since they placed the garbage can there, there are daily dumpings of garbage by residents who for some reason choose not to pay for garbage service with SF recology. While the placement of the public receptacle was ostensibly to reduce littering on the street, it actually serves to increase litter by the daily dumping of garbage in and adjacent to the public receptacle. This is a bus stop and the location of a street drain that gets blocked by garbage, which increases dangers of flooding during heavy rains. I have posted signs alerting people of the law against dumping garbage but the signs have been pulled down after a day or two.
