This sewer smelling hole was opened by city a couple months ago trying to find a blockage. It was never filled in after they located the blockage and fixed it elsewhere, much closer to 1525 Shotwell St. The sewer department says it's not their problem! It's yours. This hole is a danger to Oliver, 5, and Ellen, 2, who live with in walking distance. An "attractive nuisance" in legal terms. This hole has removed one parking space from our small number of local parking spaces. Thank you for filling it in as soon as possible.
