I've worked for Rec & Parks for 31 years n never have we planned on planting any cactus on islands as it poses as a liability to both people n their pets. I was asked to take a look today and These cactuses were planted by a neighbor who will not work with his neighbors to plant a more beautiful friendly plants. At the present time these cactus are young plants. These cactus have already pricked three neighbors. These plants are waiting for a lawsuit as a liability to their pets paws etc etc....
