  • Noise Issue

    968 Page St

I am reporting a noise disturbance caused by early morning garbage and recycling collection on Page Street, between Divisadero and Scott Street. Recology trucks arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m., making multiple laps until around 6:30 a.m. several days a week, causing significant noise disruption and preventing residents from sleeping. Additionally, the noise is compounded by glass bottle collection from a nearby bar, further exacerbating the issue. As I am currently undergoing cancer treatment, this disruption severely impacts my ability to rest. I request an investigation into whether the collection schedule can be adjusted to occur later in the morning, such as after 7:00 a.m., to align with standard collection times observed in other neighborhoods. Additionally, please review whether the current schedule, complies with local noise ordinances due to its impact on health and well-being, especially during the early hours of the morning.
