I’m writing to kindly request a prorated refund for my residential parking permit, effective 9/11/24, as I no longer need the permit. Unfortunately, my vehicle was stolen on 9/11/24, and I am currently unable to afford a replacement vehicle. As a result, I cannot transfer the permit, which is adding to an already challenging financial situation. As a student with significant loans, this unexpected loss has created a considerable strain, and receiving a refund for the unused portion of my permit would greatly help ease some of the burden.
