- Terminate employment and defund salaries, benefits, and pensions for DPW, MTA, and Planning's sign enforcement staff who have consistently failed to uphold the standards established in the Municipal Codes, resulting in widespread deterioration of commercial and residential areas. Instead, hire outside contractors to perform these tasks at a far lower expense to taxpayers. If they fail to perform, they should be replaced. The lax and unaccountable mentality must end.
